Dolphins & Whales in Bream Bay

Bottle Nose and Common Dolphins live in Bream Bay all year round; with Orca, Pilot and large Baleen Whales also regular visitors to the bay and surrounding islands.

Keep an eye out for dolphins and whales while you are on the beach.

The seas around the Hen and Chicken Islands are also a popular area to catch dolphins at play. Several local companies operate Dolphin and Whale Watch charters, as sightings are very frequent – you can even swim with the dolphins, and snorkeling equipment is provided.
